China's first Olympics is a momentous occasion. Does it present a new business with any opportunities and threats? This event is aimed at discussing this theme. Share ideas and be better informed about the possibilities surrounding China's hosting of the 2008 Olympics.

Bring at least 100 business cards, and be prepared to meet new people and exchange cards with them. The event will include a structured program of speed networking so you do meet new people and discuss business opportunities, presentation of business proposals and ideas and a panel of experts discussion.
Please feel free to invite friends and businesses colleagues if they are interested, and to pass this invitation on to others.
Speed NetworkingEach person admitted will get a name badge with their name, and a sticker so others can immediately surmise what they can bring to the table: - RED = people who want to set up a business or expand to take advantage of the changes in this area
- YELLOW = people already managing or in charge of a business affected by these trends
- GREEN = anyone who feels they can contribute advice or funds to help businesses starting up or expanding into opportunities in this area
- BLUE = anyone already running a business who can provide services or funds to anyone facing these issues and opportunities
Business Proposals and IdeasAnyone wishing to do so is invited to send a single ppt slide to the RSVP addresses above with: - 100 word (NOT more) business idea or proposal related to the theme;
- A photo of them or their team;
- Any skills or resources they are seeking to help them succeed;
- Contact details and links to more information (optional).
These will be on the MGSM Networker web site prior to the event and also flashed up during the event. There will be a prize for the best idea. To be considered the ppt must be submitted at least 5 days before the event. Panel of Experts
There will also be a panel of invited experts to discuss the themes and the implications, and comment on business proposals submitted or raised on the night.
