Event Theme
Through a combination of case study and theory you will learn the importance of following an established innovation pathway, the role and types of IP protection, as well as the various options you have to “get your product to market”. You’ll come away with a greater understanding of the innovation process as well as useful tools that you can put to work in your own business.

Kate Ingham, Senior Client Manager - NSW Innovation Service
Kate Ingham is accredited member of ASSOB and graduate of the AICD. Kate has a BA (Communications) degree and has worked as a media practitioner and coach for over 20 years. Kate was Director, Pitch '08 and 2007 Pitchfest, assessing applicants and coaching SME's in the art of pitching to investors. She has served in the role of Director, Industry and Cultural Development with the Australian Film Commission. She managed a range of media organizations and worked in a wide range of capacities in film and TV in Australia and the US. Kate has served as an independent program assessor for the Department of Communications Information Technology and the Arts.
