Social EntrepreneurshipIn our final event for 2011, join our panel of guest panelists for an interactive session. Our panel is made up of: - Sue Heins is the founder of “Inspiring Women”. Sue inspires women to succeed, and whilst her main focus is on women who wish to be successful in their own business, her work spans many areas, from networking to training. She has the respect of Government and Business alike and has often been “the glue that binds” in otherwise difficult, to resolve situations. Her entrepreneurial skills span all sectors of society and we are delighted to be sharing in Sue’s knowledge.
- Lisa Kim is a University-qualified Naturopath who has turned her focus to presenting Childbirth Education. Lisa is successfully building her business and utilising the social network site, Facebook as a medium, something we all think about, but how many people do you know who have actually done it? Her business is built on 2 complementary services, teaching expectant parents Calmbirthing techniques www.centralcoastcalmbirth.com.au or www.centralcoastcalmbirth.com.au/facebook and teaching Fathers-to-be how best to support their partner during the birthing experience www.beerandbubs.com.au/centralcoast.
- Dr Roger Chilton is the Rector of St Swithuns Church. Roger initially worked as a Lawyer in one of Australia’s largest and most well-known firms, before gaining his Masters in Theology in Canada and then his Doctorate at Oxford. He and his assistant Ministers care for a large congregation, in addition to his membership of several NFP Boards, and he has recently returned from several weeks overseas visiting significant religious sites and also supporting the St Swithuns choir on another successful English tour. Roger will be sharing his knowledge in the context of the modern entrepreneurial demands on his Church”.
Please note: MGSM Networker events are open to all (not just MGSM people) so if you have a colleague who would be interested in this topic, feel free to invite them along. Just make sure they register for the event.
